MowMap ("we," "us") provides lawn-care planning tools for homeowners. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this policy.
Account: email address and authentication identifiers (via Supabase Auth).
Lawn profile: name, property location (address and coordinates), lawn size, grass type, equipment, goals, and preferences you enter during onboarding or in the app.
Activity data: mow sessions, activity log entries, property maps, calendar events, germination projects, soil notes, and similar records you create.
AI assistants (Hallie / Rudy): messages you send and context we attach (your lawn profile, weather, and related app data) to generate replies.
Device: push notification tokens (if you enable notifications), app version, and standard device/platform info needed to run the app.
Location: precise location when you grant permission, used for maps, weather, mow tracking, and property features.
Photos: images you choose to attach for Lawn Lens, Ask, soil notes, or support.
Purchases: subscription status is processed by Apple/Google through RevenueCat; we do not receive your full payment card number.
We use your data to operate MowMap: weather and conditions for your location, mowing and application guidance, maps, notifications, AI chat, and syncing your settings across devices. We do not sell your personal information.
With your permission, we use location to show maps, pull weather and soil-related forecasts for your property, and run location-based features (germination tracker, conditions, almanac). During a live mow session, with your permission, we may continue tracking your position in the background so zone coverage stays accurate while the screen is off. You can change location permission in iOS Settings at any time.
We share data only as needed to run the service:
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your user record and associated app data from our systems, subject to short backup retention by our hosts where applicable.
You can update profile and lawn data in the app, disable notifications in Settings, report an AI response from the chat screen, and delete your account from Profile → Delete Account (also available on the membership screen before purchase). Deletion is permanent and removes your account and associated cloud data.
MowMap is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
